Harlow Bros is an independent family managed business with over 90 years’ experience in timber, manufacturing timber products, and engineering wood products.
Spread over ten sites in the Midlands area, the company approached Eaton Electrical for assistance in moving their existing sales operations into new purpose built facilities. Eaton were contacted early in the process to provide expertise in the design and installation and commissioning of mechanical, electrical and safety systems.
Electrical relocation project works
The specific tasks on the project included; data logging and electrical supply analysis; Autocad drawings, Amtech electrical designs and Relux lighting design; installation of low energy led lighting and fire alarm systems; heating and ventilation.
Throughout the project, Eaton worked in close contact with the client to ensure a high level of customer support and liaison. During the design process it was essential to relay messages so that the final building design surpassed the client’s needs and expectations.
Upon completion, Harlow Bros were presented with a spectacularly modern, energy efficient, purpose built sales facility. Reaching and exceeding the company’s goal of providing an improved work environment for staff.
Following the success of the project, Harlow Bros approached Eaton to provide the same services for their other branches including construction on the Derby site.
