The Investors in People accreditation is a nationally recognised award for the improvement of a business through their staff. To become accredited, Eaton Electrical had to meet 39 criteria set by the UK’s most commended business leaders. The criteria cover everything from business planning to performance measurement to leadership, providing a benchmark for best practice in all areas of business.

Paul Devoy, Head of Investors in People, said: “Our research shows that happier staff are less likely to take time off sick. Investors in People is encouraging businesses to consider how they treat their staff to ensure they have the happiest and most productive workforce.”

Bill Eaton, Managing Director at Eaton Electrical comments, “It’s only by investing in our staff that we are able to satisfy our customer’s requirements.  Without exceptional and committed staff we cannot move the business forward, so it is a fundamental part of what we do as an organisation. We are really proud to have achieved the Investors in People accreditation; it shows just how seriously we take staff development to create a happy and productive workplace. ”
