A government report has highlighted that very few homeowners know how much electrical appliances could be costing them each year.
Domestic energy use in the UK has increased by 17% in the last four decades however, there are now 2.4 million people living in fuel poverty. There has been an emergence of alarming habits with people relying on ‘luxury’ items such as washing machines and dishwashers without knowing the financial implication of using such fuel hungry appliances on a regular basis.
