According to the latest annual Centre for Retail Research (CRR) survey into the use of CCTV in retail found that 66% are planning to move to mobile data access in the near future.
Only 18% of those questioned- which included 2,200 retailers of all sizes- are presently able to access live recorded footage through mobile but two-thirds intend to introduce it soon.

The survey which was commissioned by Axis Communications, the global leader in the network video, revealed that 70% of those not currently using convert CCTV are looking to implement it in the near future.
The report, which was carried out in July and August of this year (2015), also highlighted CCTV’s effectiveness as a crime detergent. The figures supported this with a significant 82.7% of retailers believing that CCTV has reduces losses while 29.7% are now using fraud analytics to help improve their security.
